Invited and Contributed to the Arab Innovation Academy 2020 as a Technology Mentor for its 3rd edition in Doha, Qatar in partnership with the Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP).
The Innovation Academy has become a recognized leader in tech entrepreneurship education. Its a non-profit, educational programs are developed through joint partnerships with professionals from the world’s top institutions, to include Stanford University, U.C. Berkeley, and Google. Firstly, truly honored to have mentored participants for the Arab Innovation Academy 2020. More than 190+ Students from across the world came to Doha for a 10-day extensive program on startups and entrepreneurship. Mentored participants on ML, AI, Voice First apps, AR, VR, IoT, mobile, web and Cloud.
Also trained participants to build FAQ Chatbots and Voice Assistants quickly using schema markup, Dialogflow, and Actions on Google. Check out these tutorials regarding google assistant here.
The 10-day extensive program also brought in numerous distinguished mentors from various fields and industries. These mentors helped and trained the participants to nurture the ideas and build startups around the same.
Salamtak, developed an online system for the management of chronic diseases, like diabetes and hypertension. It provides both patients and healthcare professionals with a real-time interface to monitor vital data, won the first place.
The second place went to Hamza, for their development of the program, which assists with Arabic writing. It automatically corrects grammatical errors, just like Grammarly in English.
Finally, the third place went to Go Star, who created a platform for parents to create gamified daily life tasks for their children.
