The ROWAD conference this year was preceded by a successful regional hackathon organized by QDB, where entrepreneurs and startups from six GCC countries collaborated to create innovative solutions in five key areas: FinTech, Agri Tech, Health Tech, Edu Tech, and Sustainability Tech. The leading teams from each category participated in a two-day bootcamp in Doha and then presented their solutions to a jury panel on the first day of the ROWAD conference. I had the fulfilling opportunity to serve as a mentor, dedicating two full days to guide and support approximately 12 startups. This experience allowed me to contribute significantly to the development of innovative solutions in diverse tech sectors such as FinTech, Agri Tech, Health Tech, Edu Tech, and Sustainability Tech. My role in this event was instrumental in preparing these emerging companies for their presentations to the jury panel and enhancing their potential for regional growth and investment readiness.
